The American television serial drama Lost is the brainchild of the head of then head of ABC Lloyd Braun.  Braun wanted a show that was a blend of several plots including those from the ‘Lord of the Flies’, the movie ‘Cast Away’, a popular video game known as ‘Myst’ and the television shows ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and ‘Survivor’.  Lost follows the adventures of a group of survivors of a plane crash who find themselves stranded on a mysterious tropical island.  Created by Damon Lindelof, Jeffrey Lieber, and J.J. Abrams the show is filmed on location in Oahu, Hawaii and first broadcast on September 22nd, 2004.

The American television show ‘Heroes’ was created by Tim Kring and first aired on September 25th, 2006.  Heroes chronicles the lives of a group of ordinary people who for some yet unknown reason discover that they have been given superhuman abilities and powers.  With millions of viewers in the United States and now millions more becoming fans from around the world, Heroes is becoming a global phenomenon.

On March 22, 2005 video game programmers at the Santa Monica division of Sony Computer Entertainment did something that no one believed possible:  They created a highly graphic video game for the aging PlayStation 2 gaming system.  The game was based on Greek mythology and had as its primary character a man called Kratos. Kratos was a muscular fighting machine that wielded dual chained swords as his primary weapons.  While it is true that the Japanese doujinshi were quick to create several God of War hentai galleries, the video game itself had very risque sexual scenes that had to be censored before the game’s release.

Despite all of the attention generated by the God of War franchise, there are surprisingly few God of War hentai websites or any sites, for that matter, that feature a hentai form of Kratos.  When a user types in the usual key words and phrases for God of War several links appear but few lead to God of War hentai galleries!  Most lead to forums and webpages that discuss the game itself and a few are ‘trap’ websites that contain various forms of ‘malware’ such as spyware, false ‘virus checkers’ and a few will try to redirect the users search engine homepage.  The same thing will happen if the words ‘Kratos’ and ‘hentai’ are used to start a search. Back in 1961 Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created a series of new ‘natural’ superhero comics.  Characters such as the ‘Hulk’, ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Thor’ soon became household names in America and their fame spread around the world.  This is also when a superhero team known as the ‘Fantastic Four’ makes their first appearance in Marvel comics.  This comic soon became the number three comic bought in the United States (behind Superman and Spiderman).  This popularity has spawned several spinoff comics, two major motion pictures and several doujinshi hentai parodies.

In 1988 a film called Die Hard became an international blockbuster.  Starring Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman the movie was both a critical and commercial success which propelled the movie careers of both Wills and Rickman.  Based on a book by Roderick Thorp (Nothing Lasts Forever) the movie inspired three additional sequels which in itself is highly unusual.
