On March 22, 2005 video game programmers at the Santa Monica division of Sony Computer Entertainment did something that no one believed possible:  They created a highly graphic video game for the aging PlayStation 2 gaming system.  The game was based on Greek mythology and had as its primary character a man called Kratos.
